I am looking to upgrade my tank. I currently have a 25g tall tank with an AIprime light. Someone close to me is selling his set up. He is looking to get 450 for it. It is as follows:
Marineland 60g cube rimless tank.
Jebao PP-4 Propeller pump with programmable wavemaker controller
Marineland Maxi-jet 400 multi-use power head
Lifegard Quiet One 3000 Sump Pump
Hydor 320 universal reactor pump
Coralife Cone Skimmer 75G
Fluval 100W heater
Tetra HT55 auto heater
Dose this look like a good buy?

If you love the setup, yes.
If your going to change equipment then no.
Thanks for your reply. I am good with the equipment. I just wanted to be sure that all looked good to someone who knows a but more than me.

For 450,I'm not impressed. Any rock, corals or fish?
No its just the stuff I listed. Do you think I could do better? The main thing I am concerned with is new skimmers and tanks seem to be expensive.

That auto heater is junk, that skimmer is at the edge of your size limit considering a 60g tank plus sump volume. I never reuse heaters- it's a fire or meltdown waiting to happen.

Those pumps also look to be at the edge of their performance range, meaning they could be close to end of life.

All this being my opinion of course, I'd pass unless he sold you the tank only for 150- 200.

Leaves you room to buy a good skimmer, without having to pay for his "left overs"

Then again, in my area I'm know as the "craig" in Craigslist lol
