Hi All: I have a harlequin shrimp and it has taken care of pretty much most of my asterinas. I bought a chocolate chip starfish and my LFS only had a fairly large one - I put it in and the harlequin is munching on it - the starfish is upside down. How long do I leave the starfish in there? how do I tell when it is done eating it? This is the first regular starfish I've given it so I don't know what to expect. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! I don't want my tank water to get fouled up but want to make sure the shrimp is well fed.
if you already gave him the entire thing, my guess would be until the shrimp loses interest
