Help on layout

Im new to the marine world, I have a 90 gallon main tank and I have a 15 gallon for a sump, I'm going to drill the tank but I'm wondering what the best set up is before I do, and buy parts. I've been looking on google at pics but there is so many different setups. Any websites, info, recommendations are greatly appreciated...thank you in advance

I have the two tanks, lights, heaters, that's it, clean slate, I'm starting over, was in to cichlids for the last 10 years

Yeah, check out that thread that dbl posted for you. Has alot of good stuff in it. And ask as many more questions as needed. What kind of lights do you have?
