Help on return pump on BioCube 29

Hello everyone I have a question on my BioCube 29 I got it used and it has an 800 gallon per hour return pump in it. My question is is this pump too big for the tank or can I run it? I am going to run a refugee section in the filter housing

I have a 29 with a 536gph DC pump but it isn't at 100%. Yours may be fine I can't say for sure.
