I have a 120 gallon tank. I just added a 55 gallon frag tank on to my main system. My 120 has a corner over flow. I have one pump that feeds both tanks. I have to keep the presure from the pump dialed down or the main tank will over flow. I don't think I am getting enough turn over from the sump. I'm looking for suggestions. I was thinking about turing the corner over flow into two drains instead of one. And just running the water in a different way. Is that possible? Will I run into any problems? Or can I do it a different way? Thanks for any help Frank

From what I understand here you have two options
1. Drill a larger or seconf hole on the tank that will overflow if full pressure is sent to it.
2. add a valve for that tank to dial down the flow. You may possibly get more flow to the other tank howerver. That may be a simillar issue.

If you are putting 3x-5x turnover through the display you are fine. I assume the drain is 1"? If so you should be able to get close to 600gph through there.

turn the return hole into a drain and run the new return over the back.
