Help on water Parameters (cycling reef tank)

ok guys so i been cycling my tank for 2 weeks now and been testing my water faithfully check out my readings and let me know what you think if its cycled or not,btw i put in biro spira as well with live rock and live sand

Dose 2ppm of ammonia (use Ammonium Chloride, like from Dr. Tim’s products) and if you hit 0 on both ammonia and nitrites in 12 hours, you’re cycled. Otherwise keep waiting.

I realized after I started my cycle I was going to make it 1.026 when doing water change after cycle if that's okay?

change out the water, and add ro/di to try to get your salinity down.

Agreed, but if the OP is striving for a reef tank, then they would need to bring it up to 1.026.

Looks cycled to me, but I wouldn't go full blast with fish or corals. Nice and slow. Little at a time. Ease into the bio load and let it catch up.

I run my reef tank at 1.025 and it says on the internet that 1.025 is a safe salinity for corals and fish

I think it looks cycled and you need to do a water change to get the nitrates down before adding anything to the tank

I agree... dose up to 2ppm ammonia and retest in 24hrs and see where your parameters are at that point. Then you will know if you are cycled.

yup, best way to be certain.. and easy on stocking up. Take your time.
