Help! Overdosed All For Reef this morning.!

My first day of using a dosing pump to dose All For Reef and I screwed up! The timer was set for 20 minutes to give the proper dose. Except, I set the on time for 11 AM and the off time was set at 11PM by mistake. We had a minor emergency at the house so I was called away from the tank. I caught that the doser was still on when I returned 2 hours later, meaning I overdosed several times the dose needed.
I did a 30% water change immediately (all the water I had on hand). I'm making another fresh batch of saltwater and planning another large water change first thing in the morning. I could do the second water change later tonight if that would be best.
I'll have 55 gallons made in a few hours. Any advice on percentage of water change I should do to avoid the expected huge Alk/Calcium spike?
I'm hoping since it takes the bacteria a day or two to convert, I might be able to stem off a major tank crash with another sizeable water change.
Any advice (and prayers) would be much appreciated!
Total water volume of tank, refugium, and sump is roughly estimated at 75 gallons.
Tank is filled with about 80 small 1" SPS frags. I'm just sick as everything was doing so well and I doubt I'll be able to replace most of these frags.

The calcium can be read immediately, which in turn should tell you how much that would raise the alk. How much did you overdose?

Well, I was only supposed to dose 20 ml over 20 minutes. The pump ran for over 2 hours, so basically over 120 ml.

I think with a good water change maybe 30% you’ll be okay. Good thing about all for reef is that it isn’t very concentrated but ultimately run some tests and go from there. Don’t dose for a couple days and let things settle back down.

If I did the Calcium test correctly (why does it have to be so complicated), my Calcium is at 504. Using Hannah checker.

Six times the normal dose does not sound like it should be disastrous at all i would not worry too much personally, but i would definetely be measuring calc/alk over next few days and keeping doser off.

Hanna calcium tester is horrible in my opinion. Would get something more accurate like salifert, red sea....even API.

Alk is at 8, but I know true levels won't be readable for a day or two.
I've turned off the kalkwasser doser to be safe (run it overnight for 8 hours at a 1ml per minute drip).
All for Reef Doser is offline for now.
Timer error has been corrected.
Should I go ahead and do another large water change tonight/early tomorrow morning?

I accidentally overdosed all4reef a few months ago. My smart plug didn't turn off even though it was set to. I ended up with 16.5 alk something crazy like that. The vial of water after I added the regent for my Hanna tester turned super dark! My monti cap seemed to suck it all up in a couple weeks lol. It grew like mad right after that. I looked into adding muratic acid to lower alk but decided against anything because all the corals looked good. I did a 20% wc and just didn't add anymore all4reef for a few weeks until it went down to more normal levels.

That's a bit scary! I'm sure all my SPS frags will die if my Alk jumps from 8 to 16 over the next day or two.

I would have thought that for mine too I had no acros then but my birdsnest, few montis, stylo all fine. I lost a bubble coral was all.

I don't think it will be a big deal. You already did a 30% water change which should make a big dent.

I'd watch the alk and see if, and how high, it rises.

Absolutely, 30% water changes planned for the next couple of days.
I just checked 'Ultimate Reef's' Calcium and Alkalinity balance calculator. According to that calculation, at 504 Calcium, my potential Alk could rise to 20 dkh? If that's correct......

If you have a qt tank, you could transfer the frags for a few days while monitoring levels in the DT.

Unless my quick maths are crazy off, your alkalinity should rise about 3dKH.
30% water change is done and that should be down to 2dKH then.
I would not worry too much about it

Yes, just use the numbers noted on the calculator on their website. That was what I was trying to say earlier.
