apex cloning guide
if the apex will power up from the 12v port you can access the local dashboard via laptop (for example my apex ip address is 192.169.0.11) punch yours into a web browser and under setting there is a save or load settings option. you can save the settings to your laptop. and when you plug in the new apex you should be able to load these settings.

There is a Auxiliary power point on the Apex unit. Look upper left hand corner.
If you have a dose or other power supply this may do it for you.
Also keep in mind that the programing is stored in the Fusion cloud.
