Help! phosphates at 0.90 on ULR hanna phoshate reader

Had a doser malfunction that dumped monosdium phopahte in my 225 gsallon reef... after changing over 225 gallon of water over a week the phosphates are still 0.90 and not budging.. the sample water turns blue soon after adding the reagent. I moved all corals to my other system for now, the phosphate in that system are 0.06. what can i do to lower the phosphates in the 225 gallon back to 0.06 ??? please help and thanks in advance. regards, D.

Why did you pull the corals? You could dose Lanthanum Chloride into a sock?

You cannot solve this problem by water change, as you found, due to phosphate on rock and sand. A binder if some sort will be needed. Lanthanum will be more cost effective in a case like this.
