I'm thinking of ordering my first fish for my reefer 350, been running 4 years with just coral/inverts. Thinking of either a yellow watchman goby to replace my previous one that lived in my nano for 6 years or a wheelers goby with a shrimp. Either would come from @dr.reefsquaranteedfish. Was also thinking of either a starry blenny or algae blenny from same place.

What does R2R think? I loved my ywg, I just expected more than 6 years out of it.

Honestly, 6 years is a long lifespan for gobies as they don’t really have a purpose on the reef other than to breed. In a 3’ tank I’d go for another Yellow Watchman as the other smaller gobies just tend to vanish and aren’t really seen (If you’re like me and don’t mind that then go for it but I’d assume you want to see the fish daily).
