Hey guys, I'm upgrading to a bigger tank and will be throwing out all of my current sand and buying new. I'm looking for sand that won't easily be picked up by the vacuum and won't be blown around too much in high flow. However, I also want to keep nassarius snails and maybe some sand sifting gobies and wrasses. Is there a sand type that will meet all of these requirements?

I was looking into fiji pink or aragonite but without having any personal experience with either it's hard to tell if they'll meet my needs. Any advice? Thanks!!

Fiji Pink is too fine. It blows around too easily. I just took mine out of my tank a few weeks back. Lots of work. Replaced with special grade. Much easier to work with. And the gobies and snails are fine with it. :)

Tropic eden reef flakes is absolutely great sand. Super even size and small enough for snails wrasses and gobys

I also use arag special grade... was more expensive because I can only find it as live sand but my nass snails seem to have no issues :)
