Any help here would be appreciated.Have a 65 gallon tank running 3 years and have had this coral the whole time. It started out about the size of a fifty cent piece.

Noticed the otherday a couple of polyps seemed like they were dettaching.

Immediately did a water change....now 2 days later it is looking worse, what should i try.

The only other issues ive noticed is algea consuming trumpet coral.

Thanks, Mike

Mike, sorry you are having an issue. Recession like that is usually a result of bacterial infections. A dip and you might consider fragging, cutting well within the margins of healthy tissue. That seems to be the only solution that I have found to rescue at least some of the coral. Good luck and keep us posted!
