HELP PLEASE!! ACAN LORD

Just got this aussie acan lord acclimated it perfectly and it stsrted out nice and fluffy (in pic below) and then i noticed two days later its kinda unhappy and this necrosis lookin number is happenin on it! I have seen my tangs pick at it a couple times but not too much.... Does anybody have an idea of what could be the cause??

Could you tell us more about your aquarium so that we could help you better? What are your water parameters -pH,KH,Nitrates,Calcium,Mag,Salinity,Phos,temp, etc... Are there any other fish inside the tank? How long has the system been running? Do you have other corals and how are they doing?

Any shrimp in your tank, I had this issues last week when I added mine.
As soon as I dropped in my frag of Acan's my peppermint shrimp went strait for it.

System been up n runnin for bout 6 months completely cycled at bout 3 weeks
I have a yellow tang a sailfin tang a snowflake clown a dragonette a diamond goby and two cleaner shrimp

I have other corals aswell tht are seemingly doing great i think it may have to do with my tangs or cleaner shrimp

Yes!! I have two cleaner shrimp tht as of the day before yesterday i have been noticing picking at my acan when the lights go out......i love em bust nasty buggers they are turning out to be

I've been keeping the shrimp well feed with mysis shrimp, seams to help out alot.

I had a copper band and a fox face nip at my Acans. Once they are irritated they have closed for weeks on me.

Get one of them little breeder boxes and stick him in it until they get use to him

acans like some phos and nitrates. looks like your water may be too clean. I can always tell if I'm skimming too much by the look of the acans or possibly not feeding fish enough.

He could have a smell they like a and they will pick on him for that. Let them get use to the smell

Ok cool i took him and placed him at the lower corner away from where the fish and shrimp mess around at he seems to be doin better
