HELP PLEASE!! Barnacle Blenny with Parasite?

Noticed that it looked like the skin around his face was peeling off. Immediately put him in a acclimation/quarantine box with air stone ( the water from the box is not mixing with the tank water) until I can get my hospital tank set up. Now it looks like he has a thin white string attached to his side. Here’s a video and pics

Any idea what this may be?

Also, can I start this in a 5 gallon bucket. Hospital tank is 25 gallons. I’ll be able to start treating him faster in the bucket. I have heater and air stone
