Just wondering, I’ve never seen large black sand like that it’s pretty cool. Yeah I think it’s the white light that is killing them like others have mentioned

Lighting is an easy fix (ordered some Steve’s LEDs ) snail killing not so muchJust wondering, I’ve never seen large black sand like that it’s pretty cool. Yeah I think it’s the white light that is killing them like others have mentioned(especially the monti cap). This picture you have looks way better than whites....my eye is a terrible PAR meter though lol.

Yeah the snails I’m so confused on....zombie snails might not like that larger substrate but I’m not positive on that one...still I don’t think it would cause immediate death. Like I said man I’d be worried something is waaaaayyy off does the water feel especially cold or hot to the touch?
