Hi all! I got my husband a fungi a plate coral as a Father’s Day gift. The owner of the lfs where I purchased it told me they do best glued onto a flat rock on the bottom of the tank. I did just that but because I’m so enamored with it I’ve been doing more reading on it and just saw something that said they will die if they are glued down?

Please advise if this is true so I can take it off and also how can I best get the glue off the bottom? Bone cutters? Thanking in advance for help!

Mine is loose but you should be ok as these rocks are susceptible to getting knocked over

If you used superglue it may be possible to use an exacto between the glue and the rock. Then just put it onto the sand. it won't survive if attached to the rock.

I have a knife and bone cutters. He told me they can sting other corals and to place it carefully. It’s only been 2 days so shouldn’t have caused too much damage?
