Help please. Weird spots on my henioucus butterfly

I was wondering if someone could help me identify what is wrong with my butterflyfish. As of yesterday he was perfectly fine and eating well as he has since I got him. Now today he is laying on the sand and swimming very little and has these weird discolorations on him, almost like he’s gotten injured. But none of my tank mates could have hurt him.

The fish didn’t make it much longer at all after I posted the thread unfortunately so I’m unable to get any more photos. That’s my bad I realized that the quality seemed much worse once they uploaded. I have been dealing with a little bit of ich for a couple weeks with no way to quarantine but have been thinking that it was slowly getting better as it would seem like I saw less ich spots by the day. Even through the ich the heniochus would eat like a pig. Then randomly when I woke up today he still had very minimal ich spots but these brand new white spots on his body that were very large and looked like discolorations in the flesh. Like the color of the fish was dulled everywhere there is one of those large white spots.

Sorry to hear. That lesion wasn't ich of course, much too large. Possibly a systemic bacterial infection, but I would not have expected that to kill so quickly.
