Help Please with Torch

HELP PLEASE

I purchased a precious Indo gold Torch that arrived SAT am with other items by Fedex am.

Bounce shrooms and Indo Torch all doing great.

PROBLEM is the single head Indo Gold Torch is just like 1/4 open...tentacles like 3/8” extended, staying tight.

I can see the tentacles...great color nice and fat. Just wont yet extend.

Tried low and slow flow. Raised it, no flow. Can’t find it’s happy spot. Torch next to it is huge.

Water parameters are all perfect....8.2 pH, 9.2 dKh, 420 Ca, NO3 <10, PO3 <1, temp 78. Tank is full of LPS all happy.

Am I worried too early? Or something I should try.

Just did normal 10% water change last week.

It looks fine give it time it’s been only a few days set it somewhere you like and leave it alone the more you move it the more it stays stressed

Torches are hit & miss. I've had some for years then decide to recede into nothing. Yet hammers and frogspawn bloom into giants. Get a BTA and you'll be much happier.

I tried low, and mid. It was DOA. Now the seller will sure;y day no, but his was also (looking bad) dying FYI.

Thank you. Was shipped in a cup to protect coral meat bug a cheap not appropriate measure for a coral we all value as sacred....fell out and rolled in bag for a day. All showing was skeleton out of bag...but not DOA. When do we all care...these are Gods gifts. A. Protect them, and B. If we kill one work with buyer they spent a ton of $$$ and maybe care!

Not good. I guess why my LFS charges $800 a head! Maybe I am the idiot? Help.....

Thx. My torches are huge! New 24k HG is small but waving in the flow front and center. And yes my BTA was one now three..doing very well with a proud sexy shrimp dancing in it. Thx. My friends all have Aussie holds not one problem. My first...taps in a week. Crap!
