Do you have another tang? It could be from a tail strike.

Yeah, that's a little strange. The surrounding tissue is pushed together, yielding a darker blue circle. Is this an actual bump of protruding white tissue?

Almost looks parasitic... But I'm not vet, so don't take my word for it.

In many cases, food will fall within the spines and the fish pays the price. Keep an eye on it for healing and not turning red or sore

Unlikely to be an injury from a rock - too pointed really.
