hey fellow reefers, just would like to see if i could maybe get some help my polys wont open up all the way?as well as my acans, green star polys, some of the zoes,and blue glove, and blastos and elegance,however my gold torch, frog spawn birdsnest candy cains several zoas shrooms, toadstool are all fine im new to the hobby and im pretty nsure its my water per..i have a 29g biocube 150 phoenix mh, about 12 inches off of the water temp stays between 79-82 or so no3 is 5ppm i2 is .02-.03 mg 1260, ca 490 no2 0 po4 .25 kh 9% am.25 ph 8.0 help please also two clowns, two damsels, and two gobies

Thought I answered this. Must not have posted it. Calcium at 490 is high, it should be 380-450. Usually when calcium is high alkalinity will be low. Are you saying your alk is 9.0 dKH? Anyway, the better point to bring up is your ammonia should be undetectable. What test kit are you using? If you are getting a reading on ammonia you should do some water changes.

I would do at least a 50% water change. Best way to get your parameters back in check and to remove NO3. Could your PO4 be coming from your water source? Are you using RO/DI?

i am rodi it just seems to climb real fast i do about 30% water change every week also am running biomaxx bio pellets in a cpr tumbler also purigen and chemipure (not elite) maybe detritus in back chambers?
