I started my tank up August 2nd, and I think Brown algae is starting to spread throughout. I have worked late the past two days so I haven't been able to hit up my lfs. I have nitrate, ammonia, and ph test kits along w a hydrometer. I test them weekly if not more work allowing. I have done a 10% water change after instructed by the lfs. I have a 38 gal tank and it's contents are roughly 33 lbs of live rock, live sand, 2 snails, a scarlet crab, and 2 clowns. The most recent test results are salt lvl 35 sp 1.026 ph 8.3 ammonia 0 and the nitrates around 10mg/l. Temperature is around 78. Between the filter and powerhead approximately 725gph flow rate. The light I have is a orbit marine led light with 24 hour ramp timer pro led controller. It is set to 7 hours medium/high intensity, and 30 minutes sunrise/sunset w no moonlight. It's on from 8am til 4 pm. Thanks in advance for any information.
