I have a 4 month old 29 gallon biocube containing.:
2 green chromosome
2 true peculiar clowns
1 yellow watchman goby
1 cleaner shrimp
1 sandsifter star
5 Turbo snails
Hermit crabs about 10
1kenya tree
1 green star polyp
2 zoas
And a few odds and ends thing that came on my live rock: long spin urchin, Haitian anemone, and some flat looking sea sponge.
Any way everything was happy and healthy I checked my parameter saturday and everything was great
Ph 8.0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate0
Ammonia 0
Salinity. 25
But later that evening I noticed one of my clowns where dead and they where both fine earlier. So I checked parameters my ammonia had shot up to 1
Everything else in the tank was fine though.
I did a water change and it went back down. I don't understand why it went up so high so fast?
And then Sunday my 1clown that was left kept circling my Kenya tree digging all day. earlier today though it had moved to the corner of my tank to dig now it's gone..can't find it anywhere does this something to do with is mate dying or the ammonia spike?
