I woke up and 2 of my heads on my torch are melted away. Nothing has changed, did a water change and match water in tank perfectly 6 days ago. All specs good. Losing another head as I type this now. It's been in same place for months. Do I split the good heads from the bad? I'm lost. Thanks

Something must have been in your new mixed water or the # were off, ALK, CAL.

I suggest you test your salinity again. I had a similiar incident a few days after I did a water change and the salinity was perfect at 1.026 and then things started melting and I retested an the salinity was at 1.030!! I mmediately did another water change to bring it down, but it was too late. The fish survived but not the corals...I earned that lesson the hard way.
