Ok, had a massive leak on my 65 gallon full tank. Had to purchase a75 gallon tank. Ended up having to move all water and fish and everything to new tank. Threw on a hang on back filter for a couple days and now here is the issue. I am trying to place my sump back underneath. I thought i had enough room but it is like 1-1.5 inches from fitting except the middle support for the 75 gallon stand is in the way. This is now a full tank with rocks, fish and sand (not pretty lol) due to circumstances. Can I cut the middle support towards the back of the tank out temporarily and fit the sump without causing any damage to the tank support?????? Any feedback is appreciated

I had the same problem as you. I have a 125 I built a sump and it wouldn't fit because of a support beam in the way.depending on the stand can you cut a hole on the end of stand and slide it in. That's what I did that way your not taking out the main support beam

It's all according to how your stand is built. Post some pictures and it might be easier for someone with the right experience to give suggestions.
