Hello,
I'm kinda new to salt water, my tank has been up for 9 months. I have this stuff growing in my sand and on my live rock, I clean it all away and a few days later it grows back completely. I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to get rid of it and curious what it is.

Welcome to reef2reef! To me it looks like cyano, I can see some on the live rock to the right.

Welcome....it's cyano. Check ur phosphate and nitrate nutrients in other term. Lower them and lower down ur light intensity.try to post ur tank parameters.

PH 8, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrates seem to be really high

My lighting recently broke, my local store talked me into getting this light that was 340 has a bunch of features, I'm still figuring it out. I have a purple tip hammer and fire torch I believe theyre called, that don't seem to like the automatic settings on the light so I've been doing it manually, during the day I keep the white lights on 100 percent and the blue lighting on 80 percent at night I drop the white light down to 15 percent and the blue light on 100 percent
