what is eating my leather coral! I took this picture at night so its easier to see the holes. Its opening up good during day.

i think it might be flatworm or nudibranchs. have you had a look at your tank at night? you might be able to see what is doing the damage then.
 
there is also a type of snail that will eat corals, rapa snail.
 
How long have you had the coral? any new rock added recently? what lights do you use?
 
i would be tempted to dip the bit rock its latched onto and see if anything comes out. it really looks like its being eaten and not pulling itself apart

I wouldnt be able to dip the rocks. They are huge and there are a least 10 frags of sps's glued to them. I will look tonight. I hope I can see something
 
are you using a red light to check at night? try catch the pesty coral muncher!
 
Because things that live under the sea can't see red, when you go in with a flashlight you'll scare everything away. I just use a old red bike light, works fine!
