So I get home today and my tank is cloudy my starfish is on top of the sand (probably dead) and I see my super man montipora looks like it's gone. Got my water tested and it's pretty much perfect except for phosphate is a little higher then wanted. Anyway does this look like a goner or should I leave it for a few days to see what happens thanks!

Leave it. I had a red monti plate come back from a crash and I thought it was completely dead. Guess a polyp survived in a couple spots and they are now pencil eraser to nickels size almost a year later.

it looks like its still alive when its completely gone it will be solid white and skeleton showing. let get your parameters, a FTS(Full tank shot)
please include anything that you may have dosed as well.

I've had montis come back from -what I thought was- the dead before. Took lots of regular water changes and actually paying attention to my tank to do it though. I had neglected it quite a bit at the time.

Tell us what you did yesterday to the tank?
If # are ok can you post them for us?
As of now it can be a few things but we need to know more, you are our eyes my friend, let get to it to find out and get you back on track.

I don't have the parameters from this time but it wasn't much different from last week alc 10.9 Ca 425-450 N03 40-80 (closer to eighth) phosphates .25 or a little higher. Thanks in advance

And all I did yesterday was feed and added a cap full of my alc booster

what are you using for you Alk booster

You star fish is a bottom dweller and might be in stress as we speak.
No3 at 40 - 80 or 4.0 - 8.0 either way that is a big swing.
Po4 at 0.25 is to high and can results in shock to corals.
Your torch and hammer looks healthy though.
What kind of light do you have?
Maybe moving that monti down a bit.

Lighting is the standard led that comes with the nano 20. I used to have the monti lower and moved it a few weeks ago and seemed to do way better where it is now. Also had an emerald crab die two days ago. But I'm going to cut the food in half and do a 10 gallon water change. I'm also using chemi blue in the filter socks and have a chemi elite in the sump which I bought last time for the phosphate removal just bought phos guard tonight though hopefully does a better job

Yea i would check your parameters, also get some floss and some carbon just incase. You said its cloudy and Does your water smell?

Doesn't smell check this morning water is crystal clear. Didn't do anything to the tank but I think my starfish is a goner
