I have a foxface for over 3 years now. He is fat, and healthy.
I just noticed these Marks on him today.
Nothing has changed in the tank for over a month now. No fishes were added either.

I've never seen anything like this! Poor guy!

#mods can we get this moved to the fish disease section?

#reefsquad Anyone else familiar with this?

Oh no! Poor little fella! Is he being picked on by any of the other fish in the system? Does he have this only on the one side of his body or both?

ops! Wrong section?
Not a problem. We have a fish disease section which will help get the right eyes on it faster, but the mods can move the post easily enough.

So much coralline. The fish are growing it too!! Lol just kidding

Possibly a secondary bacterial infection
I agree with the bacterial infection. If there were any indication of it getting worse I would put it in a hospital tank with Metroplex, Kanaplex and Furan 2 to hit it with as broad a spectrum of antibiotics as possible. If it isn't getting worse, I would just watch it as closely as possible.

Wish I could give you more confident advice but this one is new to me.

@Maritimer ? Thoughts?

I had this on my copper and when my lionfish would pick on him, the small marks would then get infected- I hope he gets better!

My Kole Tang showed with spots smaller than these about a week ago. He was fine a day or so later.
