Water Smells funny?? like rotten but everything in the tank looks fine?

skimmer is a seaclone 100 my tank is a 75 gal with a 20 gal sump testing water now

Run some carbon, what does it smell like and when was your last water change and how much?

last water change was Wednesday 15 gallons

water is from my rodi system and it didn't smell Wednesday

sand looks a little brown today that is new

Do you have cyano, it smells really bad? High ammonia, nitrite and it will smell bad

Do you have any bubbles forming on the sand or rock? Maybe hydrogen sulfate which happens with an algae situation, how old is the tank?

it is 6 months old and no bubbles

I would look into upgrading your skimmer, big time. I don't know if that is your issue, but a skimmer upgrade will do wonders for your tank.

Just depends on your price range and is it in sump or hang on the back?
