Help Please.

I purchased some chaeto from a local reef store. When I got it home I noticed things " Critters " moving in the mass. Small snails and other creatures. I fill a bucket with saltwater and put the chaeto in there. I am posting a few pics of what I see. Can you all let me know if I should start my Refug with this mass with critters in it. Thank You in Advance for your time.

i dont know what the second picture is but the first one is an amphipod and they are a help full critter, you will see alot of critters in the chateo most of them are harmless and will actually help your tank. I am not sure what that spiral thing is though
