Help please!

Hi, can someone please tell me if my little blue-fin damsel is ok? He just developed this spot on his side tonight! It is a bit pinkish I think. Is it a sickness or just from another fish?

Could be a couple of things going on with your fish. Is there any aggression by other fish in the tank?

The other possibility is disease. How long have you had the fish? How long have you had the other fish that are in the tank with this one?

And then there is injury. Can't see in the pictures. Do you have any rocks in the tank where it may have rubbed?

Hmmm okay. Well I do have a little gold and black stripe chromis. He seems to be a bit of a bully and I’ve seen him chasing this one but I’ve never seen him hit him.

I’ve had him since last thursday.
I had a damsel that died on sunday but I thought that was bc of stress. I had a 4 striped damsel that harassed it and he ended up swimming slowly with his mouth opening and closing really fast and wouldn’t eat then turned white and died. I have taken the horrible 4 stripe back to the store though. Or I thought she died bc of my ammonia being a tad high. I have since put ammo lock in though.

just not sure what’s going on with this little one.

I used seachem stability. I bought dead rock and live sand. I have 4 snails and 2 hermit crabs and 3 fish. 10 gallon aquarium
