Hi guys, what are these and how often do i change. Thank you.

Those are ceramic rings used as bio media. Just leave them in and never change. You can bring them out every once and awhile to clean detritus.

Agreed, ceramic bio rings. Never remove. Rinse in old tank water during water changes if you feel they need cleaning. They are used for surface area to allow for beneficial bacteria to grow and process ammonia in your tank.
