Help please

So I came home from work and this happened ... it was leaning on the glass but I moved it.

It was one whole piece but it broke apart ... is it OK?

You're just fine. Trumpet coral (aka Candycane) self-frags very easily. I've never been able to move a colony without ending up with 20+ frags of the colony. Look at it this way, you now have two corals. They grow quickly and will fill in before you know it.
