hi i need help my nitrates and phosphates are out of balance i have a nitrate of 20ppm and a phosphate of 0.01 with phosphorous reading 0.03 get some brown on sand also some cyano starting on sand and rock tank is one year old

Are you looking for ways to increase phosphate, decrease nitrate, get rid of nuisance growth?

yes i am i have a lot of hair algae in sump not any in display my nitrate is 20 my phosphate is 0.01 phosphorous is 0.03

Let it go in the sump. It's soaking up excess nutrients and not in the display. Sounds like a win win just my . 02

hi sounds good but what i need to inow should i raise phosphates to 0.015 as my nitrate is 20 in order to lower both to writhing range of keeping sps corals
