have a reef octopus bio reactor trying to run effluent directly to reef octopus skimmer any ideas would be awesome

If the volute allows, pick up a PVC tee that will fit over the volute. Run the waste line from the biopellet reactor into the tee.

Here's a picture compliments of @Downbeach (Jim):

I added a reducer fitting to accomodate the venturi/volute. I used some PVC pieces I had left over from other projects, but you should be able to get the appropriate size to fit over the volute, and allow the tube from the BR reactor to fit into the 'T'. This was a 1" x 1" x 1/2" for Sch 40 pipe.

You still use bio pellets

Just a note...

Most of the commercial and Public Aquarium installations running ecoBAK run a reactor in series with the skimmer and all effluent from the reactor feeds the skimmer.

For those that don't know... bacteria grow and multiply on the surface of the bio-pellets and the gentle tumbling motion gently lifts the bacterial mass off of the pellets and the effluent carries the "biomass" to the skimmer where it is easily skimmed away. The biomass is laden with NO3 and PO4 and other intermediary organics. The end result is the export of nutrients.

Just a note: some highly successful aquarists run their effluent into their fuge (pod growth is CRAZY) and some simply plumb the effluent into the skimmer intake pump chamber.
