Help plz boxfish

Kk i just got a box fish i cant seem to find what to do how do i qt this guy ? Or can i use Paraguard ? Feeling lost plz help my main thing im worried about is ick

They are without scale so choice of meds is a bit trickier. I just got mine and I've owned a number of this in the past. If he has nothing on him then there is no reason to medicate. If it has ich, I would try hypo or TTM, and resort to using copper as the last choice and I would dose it slowly as well. As to paraguard, i think it's fine for an one hour bath. In fact I've done it before and my box did just fine.

TTM would take care of ich, but be very vigilant for signs of velvet/Brook during this time as they would need to be addressed differently.

I agree.. with boxfish I would recommend TTM as the best course of action and only hypo is you just cant' possibly do TTM.

i only see like a fungus on the fin so im going to keep a eye on him I might dose melafix but for now he seems stressed so im just going to let it be

TTM sounds so stressful on the fish my q is if ick is in the water and i use the net to catch and transfer to the other qt tank wont ick transfer to ? Feeling confused

There is a very small amount of water that would transfer with the fish. Simply put, three transfers should be enough to outrun the lifecycle of ich, there are two more built in as a buffer just for situations like that.
