Looks like hair and turf algae.
is this tank at or near a window?
You will need to turn off white lighting at least 3 days, add 1ml of 3% peroxide perc10 gals to sump at night, pull what you can by hand and add:
Pencil urchin
4 turbo grazer snails
4 astrea snails
4 nerite snails
12 carribean blue leg hermits

Thanks its not near a window, my lighting remote had broken so i had no control of the light cycle, I just recently added astrea snails. Been looking for an urchin near me. I felt like my clean up crew had fal
ing in numbers

I think a bit more information is needed to help.

Is this a new tank? How long has it been running?
How are the water parameters? Is the nitrification cycle working?

There are no corals to compete with the algae. Why are there only two fish as livestock? Does the clownfish have an anemone?

The tank has been running for 2 1/2 years. ammonia is 0, nitrate is 0, nitrite is 0. So the algae must be consuming nutrients. The tank is just waking up that's why there are only three fish in the photo. and no, they don't have an anemone as all clowns don't need one. This is a fowlr tank.
