Hello!

Hope someone has some good advice. I'm setting up a red sea reefer 250 g2, I've followed the instructions carefully, and the only thing I've done differently is to install some thin furniture knobs under the legs. I have leveled the tank and checked with a laser, 100% level and filled about 1/4 of the tank with water. I feel that there is a little "play" when I shake the tank, but I don't know if it is because of the furniture or something else. if I walk by a little heavily I see ripples in the water. should I be worried or is it okay to top up with water? the aquarium is in the living room, on a floating laminate floor, the house was built in 2010.

If your floor is raised construction (not on a concrete slab) it would be normal to see small ripples from the vibration caused by walking hard.
As for the play, does it shift laterally? Or is it teetering because one leg isn’t adjusted properly?
I would double check all connectors, leg levelers, etc.
Also, are those furniture pads rigid or flexible? Personally I would be careful using those unless you are sure they are rated for the load of an aquarium and won’t become brittle / fail later on.

Ye, its not concreet it that floor :). thanks for the reply, I think I should then consider taking down the aquarium and removing the furniture knob underneath it dosent shift laterally, more wobbling, should be rock stable maybe? longitudinally completely stable.
