I have had my tank for about a year now, its a 12 gallon nano cube that was already established and given to me by a friend. When i first got it i noticed one "thing" creeping out from a hole in the rock and upon research the only thing i could find that looks remotely close to it is a psuedocorynactis. I couldnt find much informstion on it other than most people seem to say its a type of anemone comonly refered to as a ball anemone. I thought no big deal i wont worry too much about it. Over they past year it has spread from one to at least a dozen and a half. Im afraid of them over taking my tank and combating with the various corals i have in place. Now i just watched a video on youtube from Tidal gardens Inc. That states that these are not in fact an anemone but a type of mushroom. Still not convinced on if they will combat my corals or sure how.to get rid of then. Has anyone had any experience with them being a pest? Any tips on how to get rid of them?
