Me and my wife recently bought a house and I moved my 2 year old 125 gallon mixed reef last week and lost 100% everything. Within 24 hrs over 60% of my coral and fish were dead. My coral was completely white, torch heads gone, everything! My question is am I ok when I start over to use the 125 pounds of live rock I have now or should I just buy all new rock also? I mean a lot of it has dead coral skeleton on it so it isn’t worth trying to use anyway.

this is 2 weeks ago!

I would say it is still usable but needs to be cured again.Scrape and scrub as much of the dead coral and other hitch hikers as you can off.I would recure it in large Tupperware containers for the next 30 days or more changing the water once a week at the least.Make sure to use a power head to keep a strong flow of water circulating around the rock.
I have done this with success over the years. It is a lot cheaper than buying new rock that would need to be cured and cycled anyway.Good luck and sorry you have to restart the system again.
