I’m rethinking which Tangs I want to put in my DT and need some thoughts on the combination. DT is a WaterBox 220.6 (167 gallons). I’ve decided to stay with only four Tangs and would like to get a couple of nice ones. The list would be Achilles, Gem, Naso or Hippo and Tomini.

The Tomini will be first in. It goes in this week. The Tomini is only 2” long. Hoping to find the other three at about 3 inches so they won’t start out with a big size difference. Tank mates will be a couple of swallowtail angels, two clowns, a few Chromis and maybe a Wrasse. Appreciate any suggestions/thoughts on the combination and flow of introducing them into the DT. Also, would want to try and Quarantine maybe two together in a 29 gal QT. Right now I’m thinking I could quarantine the Gem and Naso (or Hippo) together, then bring in the Achilles last.

Thanks

Jetson.

All those tangs will out grow that tank, you should pick one

I would do a gem hippo tomini and convict if it were my tank. Naso may outgrow that size tank.
yes. I picked it because it’s the least aggressive. Size could definitely be a problem down the road.
