It takes 3.68 seconds to fill a 1 gallon milk jug, what's the gph flow rate?

Or

I want a flow rate of 1200 gph out of two 3/4" return nozzles. How many seconds should it take to fill a gallon milk jug out of one return nozzle?

978 gph

get it filled in 3sec flat and you will have hit 1200gph
Justin is right below, I missed that you wanted that split between two

So 6 seconds, to fill on gallon milk jug, for each of the two 3/4 nozzles = 1200 gpm return flow thru the sump?

No 1.67 seconds out of one of the two nozzles.

U want 1200 out of both returns? Or 1200 thru ur sump

Cause u have stated that u want both of these so which one do u want

Wel ur first post says 1200 thru both nozzles seems like u have it tho so good luck brother and that's a lot of flow ESP if u have a fuge.

Just a question?
Why would you want more flow threw your sump than your skimmer can process?

^^this. I'm a fan of low flow through the sump. Detritus drops out and i can vaccum it out from there as well as allow more contact time with skimmers and other reactors.
