Help! RG dying?!

Came home to find him laying on his side in the sand. Still breathing so grabbed a net and acclimation box. Was able to net him after he ran a little but he's def not right barely moving and breathing slowly. No spots, other fish are fine no ammonia. Any ideas? Don't have a QT tank. I do know he was going after the larger RG last night but he doesn't appear to have any trauma. Am I being paranoid? He did just move a bit bit then settled back down.

Update

2 hrs in already seems a lot more energetic etc. Think I'm going to leave him in overnight just in case. He seriously had me worried. I've never seen him lay on the sand bed before.
