Help: Rose Bubble Tip

Hey, my RBT recently moved from the top of my rocks to the rear tank wall. It has reduced in size and is not opening. Doesn’t look good. I last fed it mysis a few days ago. I’m really worried and I’d love some help.

First 2 photos are from 4 days ago when it started moving towards the back wall.
Last 3 photos are from a few minutes ago.

Because people want to know. What are your tank numbers and was is different or new to the tank including salt mixes.

I just tested it, my parameters are a little wonky but I'm not entirely sure how to adjust them. I recently did a water change last week (3rd) and my next one is this friday (14th). I usually aim to do water changes every other friday. The only thing I've recently added into the tank is my first time using chemi-pure. The RBT has been in this tank since mid December. So about 2 months.

pH: 8.0
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 40 ppm
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Salinity: 1.029

Whoa, that salinity, if correct is a little high for a reef. How are you measuring salinity? Nitrate is also a little high and can annoy an anemone.

Nitrates and Salinity are definately high. Time for some water changes

Shoot for 1.026 salinity and about 5ppm nitrates

I know they're high but I've been trying to fix them recently with no luck. I just did a water change not too long ago and about to do another. I'm trying to top off best I can so not sure how to bring down salinity

How did it get so high? What salinity is your water change water at? Your topping off with plain rodi right? Not saltwater?

I get 5 gallons of salt for every water change at the fish store I work at. We keep it at 1.025
I do not top off with salt. I just went out and got 5 gallons of RO so i'm gonna do a 2 gallon water change and wait to see if it goes down then another partial to adjust.
