... by helping me put and end to flooding my garage. Definitely click bait :D the wife just shakes her head when I flood the garage.. but I know she's keeping count in her head, so when she bangs and dents a wall in the house I can't say anything.

I need help figuring out an automated way to stop over flowing my mixing station. In good flood this once a week, I get distracted with work, the cat, food, or the tank.

Here is my setup, how would I incorporate a float valve or a way to kill the water flow with the cleanest set up possible?

All you need is a float valve in your Brute can.
I'm surprised you don't have one with that RO/DI setup? It didn't include it?

FLOAT switch with solenoid, even a JBJ ATO with tom pump which will turn pump off when float reaches height that is set

Looks like a BRS RO unit. You either already have a shut off on it or can get one added.

My unit came with it from BRS. Just needed a float switch in my Brute

Glad I got the notification! We have/had the same issue.

I’ve flooded my garage twice, guess what, wife didn’t even know!

I added a turn value because when it fill all the way up it will spill out a little. That way you can turn it close and be fine. I also used coral glue to seal it up. Wanted to be 100% safe on this!

If I would’ve know my foot was in the image I would’ve cropped it out... ew.

Best solution is definitely and Auto Shut Off kit posted here. A float valve will definitely prevent the flooding but an ASO will shut the flow down entirely. With just the float valve your unit will continue to send water right down the drain until you remember to shut it off yourself. Which if you're like me you forget often.

No float switch was included. And yes it's a BRS system.

Awesome thank you for the link. Nothing is needed at the valve near water supply? Or I'm guessing it should be turned off at the water supply once filled?

The square looking thing in that picture is a pressure valve that will sense the back pressure in the line from the closed float valve and turn off your source water. You should still manually turn off water when done but this will prevent the flood and keep you from wasting water.

An ASO will stop all flow if setup correctly, a float valve on it's own will not
