Help saving an optical liquid level sensor

Hey all. I noticed that my optical level sensor has liquid inside of it. I can tell because there are bubbles that move around. This seems to be impacting the sensor's performance as it always says that the water level is at the correct height. Does anyone know if this is fixable?

You might try packing it in silica for a few weeks to help suck up the moisture
