I just got this 32 gallon bio cube. Passed the 24 hour leak test. When I was cleaning it up I noticed this. It’s on the inside and it feels like a scratch, however I want to make sure it’s not a crack.

Rub your nail against it. May be glue . I’ve seen this many times. Many times manufacturers pull the tube away and that thin hair like glue lands on the glass surface.
If it comes off, you then know not a crack

It was initially black - I rubbed off what I think was silicone and that’s what was left behind

It's probably residue from the silicone. If your nail catches it then it's a scratch. If it's a scratch it can be buffed out. Certainly doesnt look like a crack to me though

Looks like a scratch to me. If you look at a crack at the right angle you can usually see the full thickness fissure.

a this isn’t full thickness also doesn’t reflect the light randomly like you’d expect in a crack
