I am going to mod my ac70 to work on my 20g reef tank as its primary chemical filtration and refugium. However I do need surface skimming to occur so I do want a small overflow box for the intake tube. Does anyone have suggestions. I can clarify more too

Was hoping for some insight here.

I know I was looking at the synergy shadow overflow box and ESHOPPS ECLIPSE SLIM OVERFLOW BOX, but then was told about the Fiji box. That's currently my highest contender. Not sure if more GPH than are necessary is important in overflow boxes. It's a 60 galleon tank. I know I want to do a bean animal style return, so at least a 1200 GPH, but also looking at the 1600 gph. If you haven't already purchased yours, hopefully that information is helpful!

Modular marine is very nice as well. Thick acrylic

Did you ever find any solutions?

Oceanbox Designs makes a overflow box that's specifically designed for the AC70, but you need a small ATO sensor to fit in the box since it's where you'll see the water level change from evaporation.

I'm considering buying the larger AC110 version in hopes that it will fit my HOB skimmer intake tube and Tunze ATO sensor.

I did the mod but ditched the overflow box idea. I just have my ato going directly into the tank as well
