3 weeks? I try to add water weekly because of no skimmer and yes live rock and sand

No I was guessing 3 week old. very little algae.
Ok your a fresh water. thats cool.
The 3 nano skimmers Ive had were junk. my aquaclears pulled more out than they did.
Youll like one of these. refugium. theres a smaller one i couldnt find for $10 for chato.

I would say the tank is a little new for anemone, but some people will argue other, but they tend to like a well established tank. One thing I did on a 10 I have is I used 2 aqua clear 30s one is for biological filtration and one is for chemical plus it gave me better water flow in the tank

Also in a 10 gallon I wouldn't even bother with a skimmer I would just buy a bag of Seachem Purigen and use it, you can regenerate it up to 10 times so that will last you well over a year.

If you get the chance, try some rodi water. distilled still has some "stuff" in it. and check out seachem prime.

exactly like a refugium. HOB refugium.

Im not a chem guy. only ran carbon and media in my filter freshwater style. to each thier own. natch

oh see if the school has and rodi. you need nutral ph base water for most experiments

I got shrimp and tried feeding the shrimp to him but no luck it wouldnt take the shrimp. By time I got back it got a lot worse it is nearly split in half im wondering if I should kill it so it doesnt have to suffer :[

The anemone loves the shrimp haha but the clownfish is scared to death of it -.- and well serpent is still no luck

geez. tough spot. Personally I'd let him set. he may pull through. he may not. Me I'd rather go out in a nice comfy bed like he has now.

Should i leave a piece of shrimp on the bottom by the rock and if he doesnt eat it by the end of the night should i just remove it?

Id give it till the morning and if its worse than what it is now, chances are he probably wil not make it. I would then probably dispose of him in whatever manner is easy for you to deal with, (some people get attached extremely fast some don't)

yes.
