Help setting up fire tablet as Apex display

Is there an up to date tutorial for setting up a fire tablet as an apex display?

My wife got me one during the holidays last year for this purpose but after several hours of using multiple options outlined in multiple threads I still wasnt able to figure it out (the rest of household is Apple for this reason). The browsers weren’t working correctly and I had to download one thing in order to download some other thing... felt like I was hacking into my own device.

I can't help personally, but I was able to find a video about it and I think he discusses how to get it working.

I don't think I did anything special other than to download the Dolphin browser and use that. Something about it allowed you to view the whole screen rather than see the browser menus/frame. It was a long time ago when I set it up originally.
